Simple Little Butterfly Book

A ONE PAGE COLORING BOOK

I know you've made these before. They are a simple way to make a little booklet out of one piece of paper. You can get this one free in the Digi-Page tab.

You just print and cut off the gray edges first. Not all printers will print all the way to the edge so if yours does, you still need to cut the gray edge away before folding. You can print these 2-up and make them half the size shown here if you want.

Then fold the paper into eighths.

You can use a bone folder to crease nice flat folds. Then you need to cut the middle two folds like shown. It's easier to cut if you fold it in half first and then just cut through half of that lengthwise fold. See below.

It should look like this unfolded after cutting.

Then you will fold the sheet as shown below, first lengthwise then the middle creases fold out, the rest folded inward.

Just push the middle pages together  so you have four double pages and fold together until it looks like this with the covers on the outside of the book.

You can glue the double pages together if you want or leave it like it is. Now you have a little mini coloring book!

Colored pencils and markers will work nicely.
